Rig-compatibiliteit¶
De SIMRIG SR1-, SR2- en SR3-motionsystemen kunnen op veel verschillende rigs worden gemonteerd. We bieden kant-en-klare oplossingen voor aluminium extrusieprofielen in uiteenlopende maten. Andere typen rigs kunnen echter ook compatibel zijn.
Neem contact met ons op om te informeren naar jouw rig, of zoek hem op in de list of known rigs onderaan deze pagina.
Dit zijn punten om rekening mee te houden, ongeacht de rig-constructie:
Het totale gewicht mag niet hoger zijn dan 175 kg voor SR1 (inclusief bestuurder, rig en alle accessoires), 225 kg voor SR2 en 250 kg voor SR3
Minder gewicht is beter (meer massa betekent meer traagheid)
De rig moet stevig genoeg zijn om de krachten van het motionsysteem aan te kunnen
De maximale breedte is 620 mm, tenzij EasyBrackets worden gebruikt (zie afbeelding hieronder)

Rigs op basis van aluminium extrusieprofielen¶
We bieden kant-en-klare oplossingen voor aluminium extrusieprofielen van de volgende afmetingen. De meeste hiervan zijn geëxtrudeerde aluminium profielen met sleuven van 8 mm.
Naast de maat zijn vooral de vlakken (faces) van het profiel belangrijk. De EasyBrackets klemmen op vlakke zijden met toegankelijke sleuven aan de zijkant. Daarom is bij een gebogen profiel, of een profiel met gladde zijkanten en alleen sleuven aan de bovenkant, uitsluitend de 20x20-optie mogelijk. Dat geldt bij 40x80 mm en 1.5x4.5 in; een 40x120- of 40x160-mm profiel met gladde zijkanten past bij geen van beide opties.

Buisframe-rigs en andere typen¶
Gelaste stalen buisframes hebben geen sleuven waar je in kunt bouten en vereisen een maatwerkbeoordeling. Neem contact met ons op om te informeren naar jouw rig.
Opvouwbare frames en kart-achtige lage chassis zijn niet geschikt voor het motionsysteem.
Conversiekits¶
Sommige rigs hebben een kant-en-klaar antwoord: een conversiekit die die rig geschikt maakt om het motionsysteem te monteren. Elke kit past exact op zijn rig, waardoor er geen rigmetingen nodig zijn.
ClubSport GT conversion kit, voor de Fanatec ClubSport GT. Deze bevat drie 80x40-extrusies die onder de cockpit worden gemonteerd, EasyBrackets en alle benodigde hardware.
Trak Racer conversion kit, voor de Trak Racer Alpine Racing TRX en TR8 Pro. Hun buischassis biedt geen extrusievlak voor de generieke mounts, dus de kit bevat vooraf gemonteerde EasyBrackets en een set aluminium profielen die hiervoor op maat zijn gezaagd.
Montageopties¶
We bieden twee opties om het motionsysteem op je rig te monteren:
Set van vier 20x20-profielen
Set van vier EasyBrackets
De EasyBrackets maken een snellere installatie mogelijk, maar de profielen zijn kostenefficiënter en werken voor kleinere rigs, zoals die met 40x40-profielen.
20x20-profielen¶
De SIMRIG SR2 op de afbeelding hieronder is gemonteerd op een 40x80-aluminium extrusierig met twee 20x20x780 mm-profielen. De profielen worden met hoekbeugels, T-moeren en bouten aan de rig bevestigd.
De profielen zijn 780 mm lang; vandaar de rigbreedtebeperking van 620 mm. Voor een bredere rig zijn de zwarte profielen ook verkrijgbaar in een lengte van 880 mm — de Trak Racer S-serie wordt op deze manier gemonteerd.
Om het SIMRIG-motionsysteem aan een aluminium rig te bevestigen, zijn vier 20x20-profielen en vier kunststof beugels nodig. Deze worden meegeleverd als de 20x20-montageoptie is gekozen.
De vier 20x20-profielen worden per twee gemonteerd. Twee aan de voorkant van de rig en twee aan de achterkant. Elk paar draagt twee SIMRIG-actuatoren.
De kunststof beugels zijn ontworpen om op een specifieke extrusiegrootte te passen. Verschillende rigs gebruiken verschillende extrusieprofielen en vereisen daarom een bijpassende beugel. Beugels voor het door jou gekozen profiel worden in de doos meegeleverd.

De profielen zijn verkrijgbaar in zowel zilver als zwart, passend bij je rig.
20x20-profielen zijn de enige optie voor 40x40 mm-rigs. Ze zijn ook een goede optie voor minder stevige rigs, omdat de 20x20-profielen een basis vormen waarop je rig wordt gemonteerd.
EasyBrackets¶
De EasyBrackets zijn in 2024 geïntroduceerd als een snellere manier om de SIMRIG SR1-, SR2- en SR3-motionsystemen te installeren. De EasyBrackets zijn een set van vier aluminium consoles die vooraf aan de actuatoren zijn bevestigd. Ze maken het mogelijk om de actuatoren aan de zijkanten van de rig vast te bouten.

De EasyBrackets zijn zwart, passend bij de actuatoren.
EasyBrackets zijn niet compatibel met 40x40-rigs.
